At Ultima, we are committed to having each visit be a relaxing, therapeutic and enriching experience.

Services are performed in private rooms and your privacy is respected at all times. If you have any sensitivities or medical conditions, we ask that you discuss them privately with your skin therapist prior to your service. If you are pregnant, we recommend approval from your doctor before scheduling services.

For facials and body treatments, it is best to remove jewelry and store in a secure place.

We ask that you please turn off cellular phones and beepers while in the salon.

Scheduling is designed to permit the proper amount of time required to complete each service. Please be on time for your appointment so that you may receive your full service and our other clients are not inconvenienced.

Our appointment policies are designed to ensure that each client is attended to in a timely and professional manner. Please note that estimated times for treatments may vary.

We recommend making advanced reservations; however, please feel free to contact us any time and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you need to cancel an appointment or reschedule, we require 24 hours advanced notice. No-shows or appointments canceled in less than the required time will be billed at 100% of the price for each service.

As in all service-related businesses it is common practice to tip the person who has done a good job to the satisfaction of the customer. The rule of thumb is 10%-15% of the cost of the service. Tipping is always left to the discretion of our clients, and we sincerely appreciate your kindness.

Merchandise purchased is non-refundable, but may be returned within 10 days for store credit only. This credit is applicable toward the purchase of merchandise only.

Ultima accepts US currency, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express and personal checks. Rates do not include gratuity. Prices and policies are subject to change without notice. Ultima reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

Ultima is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

As our guest you are expected to:

• Give the skin therapist feedback as to your comfort and special troubled areas.
• Do not bring children and leave them unattended as this is very disruptive to other clients and unsafe for children.
• Relax, yet respect that the room must be prepared and used for the next client, so know that you must vacate the treatment room upon completion of the service within a reasonable amount of time.
• Give honest feedback to the skin therapist, owner or receptionist as personnel care to know if your experience was as expected.

To receive the maximum benefit and relaxation from a facial:

• Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to fill out a client history card and change into a wrap (remove all clothing and jewelry from your upper body). The skin care information allows your skin therapist to determine the best treatment and home recommendations for you.
• Your facial will consist of thorough and deep cleansing to purify, nourish and tone your skin. A woman can expect all of her makeup to be removed. Both men and women should advise their skin therapist as to whether or not they are wearing contact lenses.
• Relax completely. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply and take this time to release the worries and stresses of the day.
• Let your skin therapist know if you are comfortable or uncomfortable, too warm or too cool, or if a product is too stimulating. Your comfort and care is of the greatest concern and priority.
